Synopsis for "You Can't Go Home Again"

Bar Torr's parents were killed during a purge and left him and his sister orphans. Bar and his sister were forced to live on the streets. Sometime later, he was able to make enough money to send his sister to an orphanage run by nuns.

Bar volunteered his services as a pilot to the purifiers. He took dozens of impossible flights and came out unscathed. However, Bar eventually crashed on an asteroid, where his cargo's radiation gave him quick healing and super speed. Then, Bar Torr started a rebellion against the Functionary, resulting in massive losses on both sides, almost including his sister. To atone for this, Bar turned himself in and offered to destroy the rebellion's network. Consequently, he was sent into witness protection in the 21st Century without his memory.
