Synopsis for "Blinded By The Light Part 2"

Miguel and Gar discuss about his reaction to the words of an homophobic man he rescued days before, as the video of it went viral on the medias. Tim Drake is inside Governors Island's S.T.A.R. Labs facility, questioning one of the kidnappers saved by Cassie Sandsmark to obtain information on the leader of the operation. In some way, the kidnapper gets killed from the devices he's plugged into, thanks to a morphine overdose. Meanwhile, a girl by the name of Theresa Cicero is saved by a group of heroines that ask her to join the cause. Dressed like Wonder Girl, these girls patrol the streets: the media already discovered them, spreading their link with Cassie through television and internet.

Inside the Governors Island lab, Manchester Black and Josiah Power talk about security flaws, watching the recorded action of their mysterious saboteur able to penetrate into their security and kill some of the guards working the night shift. As they discuss, the Manhattan lab targeted originally blows up. Gar and Miguel intervene: while Beast Boy tries to stop the fire and rescue some of the scientists trapped, Bunker meets the saboteur and starts a fight with her. Bunker discovers then that his opponent is a robot, so he utilizes lethal force to grant himself the victory and time to suppress the fire, as the flames could soon have triggered an explosion capable of blowing out the entire Manhattan. In the end, we discover that S.T.A.R. Labs' enemy is called Algorithm, a robotic construct controller by Manchester Black, who is working from the inside to accelerate the relocation of the labs outside Manhattan.
