Synopsis for "Human Resources, Part Two"

The Titans and a mysterious girl defeat four kids who took a special drug, Red K, that gave them temporary metahuman powers. After curing the condition of their enemies, Raven brings everyone, including the Titans newest friend, back to Bunker and Beast Boy's apartment in lower Manhattan to avoid more exposition to their fans and to the media. There, this new girl presents herself as Tanya Spears, alias Power Girl.

Miguel tells her that, even if she is a lovely young woman, she is definitely not that Power Girl, and he has a lot of photos on Gar's phone to prove it. Tanya then explains she is her replacement: her mother and herself worked inside Starr Industries, the company Power Girl founded in Boston, when an Apokoliptian monster, DeSaad, came in search of Karen and instead found Somya Spears, Tanya's mother, killing her. As Karen had to come back to her Earth, she decided in some way to transfer some or part of her powers to Tanya, also leaving her all the legal rights to the name Power Girl.

Tanya still doesn't know how Karen did it and if she will ever possess all the powers of the original Power Girl, but once she had those powers she knew she had a legacy to defend and, hearing about them on the news, especially hearing about Wonder Girl, she came to New York to know them better. But what she found deluded her: she thinks the Titans should act in a more offensive way, to stop that what happened to her mother happens again to someone different. As Tim tries to explain Tanya that is her trauma talking for her, Cassie explodes telling everyone that Tanya's way of thinking is the same she has, but never had the guts to express. The two of them leave the others to think about the whole thing.

Tim then asks Gar an update of his undercover mission: as Manchester Black is leaving, Gar is free to explore the secret levels of the facility of S.T.A.R. Labs he's currently in. Meanwhile, two musicians who happen to be big fans of Raven registered her while she was pronouncing a magic formula, trying to reproduce it and disturbing a demon in the process.

In Cassie Sandsmark's apartment, Wonder Girl, Tanya and Helena are having a discussion about Tim's philosophy of work when Manchester Black comes for a visit. Black explains how Cassie must take the reins of the team because right now, someone is accessing S.T.A.R. Labs' most secret and protected vault to turn on special machines who will be an incredible source of trouble for all humanity.
