Synopsis for "Gotham Resistance, Part 1: The Riddler's Labyrinth"

Two days after Challengers Mountain arrives in Gotham City, The Batman Who Laughs and his Robin break The Riddler out of Arkham Asylum. The Batman Who Laughs gives The Riddler a special Joker card that will allow him to shape the world to his whims. It appears The Batman Who Laughs has already given such cards to Bane, Mister Freeze, Poison Ivy, and others. Elsewhere, Robin and the Teen Titans head into Challengers Mountain. As the other Titans help the residents of Gotham, Robin heads into the Riddler's labyrinth and meets up with Green Arrow, who has come to Gotham to investigate as well. Before long, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc also show up, and they reveal they had already found the middle of the maze. Taking Robin and Green Arrow there, they encounter Riddler in a large, mechanized Minotaur. Robin has to parse out a riddle while the others attack the Minotaur/Riddler, which they are able to defeat. Green Arrow recognizes the metal card is made of the same material he found recently in a chamber use by the Court of Owls. The Batman Who Laughs looks on from further in Challengers Mountain and chides The Riddler for leaving a solution. He then calls on his most devoted follower, Damian Wayne of the Dark Multiverse. As Robin, Arrow, Harley, and Croc start into the next realm, which appears to be Mister Freeze's due to the weather, they encounter Nightwing being chased by a frost monster as the issue ends.
