Synopsis for "Djinn Wars, Part Two: Straight Into Hell"

To save Djinn from the hands of Elias, Damian tells the Titans they must go literally to Hell and back. After fighting his evil clone, formerly known as The Heretic, Damian took the Book of the Damned and studied it, finding out a way to transport them to the gate of Hell. There, they will traverse it to access Purgatory, the realm in which Djinn is prisoner. Robin explains then that he has prepared compounds able to kill each and every one of them as a counter measure if someone went rogue: they act with an half-hour paralysis effect, stopping their hearts, and then gives way to death.

Damian tells that they will do a blitz and take Djinn back with them, and Jakeem Thunder will inject them with the antidote to the compound just when the time ends. Crush and Kid Flash accept to do it and soon the rest of the team follows. They end up right in front of the gate, reading the infamous sign "Abandon all hope, ye who enter ("Lasciate ogni speranza, voi che entrate"). After going in there, they must traverse the Labyrinth of Regret and as Damian already knows it, Wally start to think Damian is hiding something from them. They discover that after Damian was killed while battling against her mother by The Heretic, he was sent here, already experiencing damnation. After feeling sorry for Damian, the team traverses it facing their worst fears.

Damian has to fight his legacy: both Ra's al Ghul and Batman. Emiko must face her fear of being a killer for life. Wally envisions himself as heir to his father. Crush faces herself and Roundhouse has to face his regret about the death of his sister. They all find a way to get out, also helped by Damian's previous experience. In the end, they enter the gates of the Purgatory where they find an angered Djinn, who never wanted they to get there. She said that they made a mistake and that there will be no coming back: the Titans are dead, and Jakeem does not know what to do.

Meanwhile, Elias stands in front of Heaven ready to battle against Peter and his defenses.
