History
Tefé Holland, also known as The Sprout, was named after the location of the Brazilian river source and home of the Parliament of Trees.[1] Her essence was created by the Parliament to be a new elemental to replace Swamp Thing when he was disconnected from The Green, and thus thought to be dead.[2]
As a hybrid plant and human, birthed by Abigail Holland, Tefé has a connection to both The Green and The Red, giving her power over both plant life and animals respectively. Tefé grew up as a human child, convinced that she was Mary Conway, until she was a teenager. Then, when she saw her boyfriend with another girl, she lost control and killed them both.[3]

Powers
Plant elemental: Tefé Holland wields elemental mastery over all forms of plant life through a connection to The Green.
Flesh Elemental: Tefe Holland wields elemental mastery over flesh through a connection to The Red. Letting her control all forms of animal life at the elemental level. Examples of such usage are regrowing lost limbs, changing her size and appearance, or altering an entire species to have new organs, becoming living hydrogen balloons.
