Temblor was a Gotham thug for hire who destroyed various companies involved with ecological research and/or pollution.
History
Temblor was hired by an unknown employer to destroy various buildings belonging to research companies that specialized in developing genetically engineered plant life and often dumped the hazardous byproducts carelessly into the environment. Temblor's activities attracted the attention of both the GPD and the Batman. When Temblor was sent to destroy the Neugog Chemicals building, he encountered the police and had a brief confrontation with the Dark Knight, but was successful in his mission and escaped. After the third building, Neugog Chemicals, was destroyed, his anonymous employer was revealed to be the teenaged eco terrorist, Pamela Isley, who had no intentions of paying him properly. Isley assigned Temblor to destroy Chologene's corporate office, but when he arrived, he was again confronted by Batman, who was successful in thwarting the villain's attack, forcing Temblor to retreat. After Batman foiled the destruction of Clorogene's main office, Temblor was again contacted by Isley, who wanted him to destroy the Chlorogene Research Labs. However, Temblor stated there was a problem with his payment, to which Isley countered with pointing out that he failed to complete the last job, and threatened not to pay him unless he "[got] over here" immediately. This would be Isley's undoing, as it told Temblor his employer was at the location. Upon meeting up with his employer and discovering who she was, Temblor opted to kill Isley for her lack of payments as well as Barbara Gordon, who had also arrived to try to get through to her friend. Being chased through the Clorogene lab, Pamela was left crushed under some debris by Temblor's attack. However, Batman showed up to confront Temblor yet again. In the ensuing fight, Batman destroyed Temblor's gloves, and Pamela was doused with various chemical agents, which would contribute to her transformation into Poison Ivy. Following the confrontation, Temblor was led away in handcuffs, presumably to Gotham State Penitentiary.
Powers and Abilities
Abilities
- Technology Expert: Temblor was an expert in knowing how his technology worked, as he was seen working on his gauntlets, suggesting that he may have built the gauntlets himself.

Trivia
- Temblor is the Spanish term for an earthquake.
- Temblor is also similar to the Shocker, a Marvel supervillain who uses gauntlets that produce shockwaves to commit crimes. Coincidentally, Jim Cummings, the voice of Temblor, voiced the Shocker in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series.
