Terence Stamp (b. July 22, 1938 – d.August 17, 2025) was a British actor best known for his portrayal of General Zod in Superman: The Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980). He also provided the disembodied voice of Jor-El for the series Smallville (2003-2011) and voiced Professor Menace for the animated series Static Shock (2003).
