Terra #2 is an issue of the series Terra (Volume 1) with a cover date of January, 2009.

Synopsis for "Who Are You?"

Terra awakens inside of Doctor Mid-Nite's laboratory. She is shocked and enraged to find that he had conducted tests upon her without her consent. Terra quickly dons her costume and storms out of the lab in a huff. Power Girl chases after her to try and explain things, but Terra isn't interested.

As the two bicker with one another, they discover that the Silver Banshee is causing chaos in the subway. She is chasing a young man who is carrying an ancient Druid stone. Power Girl and Terra fight with the Banshee, but the young man flees, trips on the tracks and electrocutes himself on the third rail. As the stone artifact breaks, it releases the power of Gorsedd, and ancient Sumerian god. Power Girl begins fighting Gorsedd, while Terra antagonizes the Silver Banshee, effectively telling her that she is too much of a coward to face a being as powerful as Gorsedd. The tactic works and Silver Banshee actually helps them defeat the god.

Meanwhile, Richard Faulkner is at home discussing his new superhuman condition with his girlfriend, Veronica. He is elated to have such fantastic power, but doesn't know what to do with it all. Veronica suggests that he uses his power to take control over all of the hidden subterannean kingdoms.

Later, Terra flies to Markovia to help Geo-Force battle a zombie super-villain called Deadcoil. She uses her geokinesis to stop Deadcoil's armies while Geo-Force apprehends the villain himself. Things go wrong however, and Geo-Force becomes one of Deadcoil's zombie agents.
