The Terrible Trio was an alliance of figures representing the most dangerous factions of Gotham City before its takeover by the Magistrate: the crime families, corrupt GCPD officers, and the Court of Owls. They were eventually killed off by Hush, who wanted to unite their underlings under his own leadership.
