Professor Killgrave was a mad scientist enemy of Superman.

History

Thaddeus Killgrave threatened to use nuclear weapons on Metropolis, but he was stopped by Superman. After escaping prison, he created Mechanical Monsters to enact revenge on his foe. He discovered Jimmy Olsen snooping around his lair and took the photographer prisoner. Olsen tricked Killgrave into activating his signal watch, allowing Superman to find them and capture the professor.
