Synopsis for "The Hunt for Ray Palmer (Part III of IV) - Heavens to Bisty"

In Ryan Choi's house in Ivy Town, Ryan Choi, Donna Troy, Jason Todd, and Monitor Bob were gathered there to search for clues on Ray Palmer's whereabouts. The group suspected that Palmer would be hiding in the Nanoverse and shrank down to follow him there, arriving in "the city of Copernicus' (Ryan's dog) ass." The group ran into a guard and Ryan fought him, defeating him, and Jason attempted to interrogate him for answers. Ryan intervened and punched Jason, knocking him a way from the guard. Donna broke up the fight before it could continue. The guard directed them to a crystal, which he believed where Ray Palmer was. The group shrank down and entered the crystal and found themselves floating in what looked like Heaven. They were greeted by Ted Kord, the Blue Beetle, who Donna was surprised to see and was acting strangely. Suddenly, Donna and Ted's conversation was interrupted when a parade of heroes carrying lanterns including the Crimson Avenger, Barry Allen, the Flash, Hank Hall, the Hawk, Hawkwoman, Isis, Judomaster, Phantom Lady, Red Bee, Rocket Red, Skyman, Vigilante, and Young Frankenstein were flying above them. Blue Beetle said that it was the holiday of Crossover there. Bob suspected that they were being watched.

Meanwhile, in Ryan Choi's house, Dean Mayland entered in an attempt to prevent Ryan from finding Ray Palmer. Suddenly, the Head emerged and detected Mayland, who responded with hitting him in the head with a golf club. Back in the Nanoverse, Ryan Choi's mother appeared before him and ran to him, informing him that "they've opened the gates." The group turned to see that the "gates of hell" have been opened as a horde of villains including Adolf Hitler, Captain Boomerang, Captain Nazi, Doctor Polaris, Fiddler, Orca, Ratcatcher, Syonide, and Ventriloquist and Scarface coming at them. The heroes began to fight against the deceased villains, with Ryan fighting the Fiddler and Donna fighting Captain Boomerang. Ryan, who had an idea, floated up to the surface, to lure the Fiddler's sound energy to destroy the crystal, causing the villains, Mrs. Choi, and Ted to disintegrate and reveal that what happened was never real and that they were constructs built to daze and confuse them. The group exited the Nanoverse and found a message that read "RYAN TURN BACK! RAY PALMER."
