Synopsis for "Let The Word Go Forth"
The New American's debut is going well, but Chatham is uneasy, partly due to the cover-up of Lau's death. Elsewhere, Ole Miss saves Southern Cross' life while rescuing people from a burning building. Chatham goes to place flowers at the grave of Johnny Lau, where he meets Lau's brother. Chatham is embarrassed and claims his presence and the flowers are all a mistake.
At the training grounds, the team fails to impress Coach Boggs. Southern Cross nearly torches Amber, Muscle is caught up in an earth-shaking punch from Delta, and Pharos and Freya are still battling over the spoiled date. Only The New American and The Wanderer display any promise, according to Coach Boggs.
The Secret Agent maims a kidnapper and discovers an H carved onto his chest, while Chatham meets with Darling and gives a phony interview. Muscle and Amber sit at a cliff overlooking some mountains and discuss their views on God.
Back in Washington, The Wanderer reveals to Jason that he disclosed his identity to his family. Jason tells Chatham, who rushes to the Wanderer's house with Sloan to discover the Wanderer's family, apparently all murdered. Upon confronting the Wanderer with this information, he claims that they are only in stasis and that he used his "stasis stick" to put them down. He reveals that he does, in fact, have powers, and flies away through the window.
The entire CDC team confronts The Wanderer in front of the Washington Monument and subdues him, but not before he launches The New American into the Monument, cracking his helmet open in full view of the team.
