- I'm sorry! I'm sorry we don't always succeed in solving all the world's problems! But I have had it up to here with taking crap from B-listers who're too scared, lazy or stupid to even try!

The Authority: Prime #2 is an issue of the series The Authority: Prime (Volume 1) with a cover date of January, 2008.
Synopsis for "Breach of Trust, Part 2"
The Authority have come to the Arizona bunker and justify in denying Stormwatch nor anyone from taking the bunker's contents as it could possibly be too dangerous. Jackson King argues against this, stating that his team had come to either destroy or make use of Henry Bendix's possession if it is dangerous or beneficial, respectively, and pointing that he doesn't trust the Authority and their interference by recalling their brief rule over the United States which had led to Washington, D.C.'s nuclear destruction. The argument culminates both Authority and Stormwatch into battling against each other with King successfully psychically manipulating Jenny Quarx to fight against the Doctor.
Throughout the battle, both sides berate each other for their past flaws; especially from the original core members of Stormwatch who criticize the former members of StormWatch Black for being absent at Skywatch when it was infested with aliens; Jack Hawksmoor inferring to King's mistrust to the Authority for being 'uninvited' to the team; and Cannon recalling to Hawksmoor for having his team indirectly capturing him (Cannon) to be cruelly experimented by Bendix. The latter episode provoked Hawksmoor to inadvertently offending Cannon, in which Cannon slams into him and badly hurting Hawksmoor due to the fact that he is powerless without being in urban areas. The Engineer retaliates by blasting Cannon, which also knocks him into a similar battered state as Hawksmoor. This forces Stormwatch and the Authority into a more heated struggle.
