The Authority: The Lost Year #11 is an issue of the series The Authority: The Lost Year (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 2010.

Synopsis for "Damage Control"

The alternate Rose Tattoo and her crew have boarded the mainstream Carrier and are trying to use it for their own ends. They are surprised to find it has its own will and Rose commands them to break it. With the alternate Midnighter dead, there are only four members of the alternate Authority left. Meanwhile, the battle at the prison break rages on.

The alternate Jeroen Thornedike is begging Habib to kill him as he is deeply mistrusted and degraded by his Authority, but Habib won't do it. Jeroen recounts to Habib how the alternate Apollo, Swift, and Jack Hawksmoor were taken out due to having questioned their team's authoritarian rule, wanted out, and out of guilt respectively. Just then, the alternate Engineer opens a Door in Jeroen's stomach and bursts out of it, killing Jeroen. This Engineer is a shell of her former self, shunning her humanity and even identity as Angela Spica, as she then prepares to kill Habib.

At the prison break, the mainstream Authority finally take out Rose's forces. They are finally able to open a Door back to their Carrier and beginning to take back the ship.

Habib is at the mercy of the alternate Engineer. As she attempt to slowly kill Habib, he manages to get the Doctors of this world's Garden of Ancestral Memory to intervene and take the Engineer away.

Back on The Carrier, Swift encounters the alternate Rose Tattoo. Swift holds her own at first but Rose proves too much for her. Just when Rose gains the upper hand, the mainstream Engineer finally takes back control of The Carrier and opens a Door that teleports Rose into the sun.

The mainstream Authority reconvene and prepare to leave but the alternate heroes ask for their help. Midnighter tells them that they don't own them anything even though Jenny argues otherwise. After it seems that the mainstream Authority abandons the alternate heroes, they take out the last of Rose's surviving fleet to give the alternate Earth a fighting chance as they fly once more into the Bleed.

Back on the alternate Earth, the alternate Jenny Quantum lies sobbing as she realizes all her team is gone.
