The Blind is a weapon used by Amon Sur to destroy stars.
History
Planning to get rid of the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians of the Universe, Amon Sur hired three Qwardians scientists to build a prototype weapon capable of destroying the planet OA completely. Since is a prototype, the weapon has been tested several times against stars within Sector 2814, which caught the attention of Kyle Rayner that managed to prevent the destruction of the entire solar system.
A short time later Dr. Qwan triggers the device to generate several charges of quantum energy against Sto-Oa [1] to shred the fabric of space-time that divides the universes to bring Qward to the universe of positive matter and conquer it[2].
Capabilities
The Blind generates an invisible quantum singularity that accelerates a star's evolution forcing it to become a Supernova prematurely,destroying all surrounding planets [3].
