Synopsis for Batman and Ra's al Ghul: "The Crystal Armageddon!"

A scientist has discovered a formula which can transform any substance on Earth into crystal and expand beyond control. Batman and Ra's Al Ghul have learned of the existence of this formula and they start looking for the scientist, who has been kidnapped by the League of Assassins.

On their quest, Ra's feels ill and his body collapses. His daughter, Talia arrives in time to take her father's lifeless body to their hidden retreat in the Alps. Batman goes along and once again he witnesses the process in which Ra's is revived using the Lazarus Pit. Similar to the previous occasion, Ra's emerges with newfound strength, but he is crazed and he attacks Batman. Both of them struggle for a couple of minutes before Ra's comes to his senses and apologizes for his behaviour. After making final arrangements, Ra's, Batman and Talia set out to find the scientist, who is being held near the shores of Hong Kong.

As they reach their destination, Ra's provides Batman with a special serum that would prevent him from turning into crystal if he gets to touch the formula by accident. Batman descends to the place where the League of Assassins is holding the scientist and he manages to defeat the assassins. However, the scientist has decided to kill himself and everyone involved by dropping the formula on the boat they were located. The entire ship turns into a massive crystal, killing everyone inside, except for Batman, who was protected by the serum. When the crystal ship collapses, the ocean waters start turning into crystals, but Ra's uses the serum on the water, preventing it from expanding. Batman realizes that Ra's has made a noble act and he allows his sworn enemy to leave in peace. Ra's takes off on his plane, swearing to come back to haunt Batman on a later time. As the plane leaves, Talia takes one last longing look at the man she loves.
