Synopsis for Batman and Rose and the Thorn: "A Grave as Wide as the World! - Part Two: Dead Men Tell No Tales!"
Bruce Wayne continues his investigation of the theft of "Inferno A", a deadly virus in gas form, taken by Nazi spies. While looking for clues in a sunken Nazi ship, Batman is attacked by several frogmen and he is only saved by the timely arrival of Thorn. Despite her obvious capabilities to assist Batman, the Dark Knight continues his quest alone.
After learning that the Nazis have a secret base of operations in Brazil, Batman travels to the South American country and locates the Nazi Headquarters, but he is trapped by the enemy. Inside the base, Batman learns that the Nazis have captured Rose Forrest, who is still looking for her father's corpse, which was stolen by them. When she learns that the Nazis have dumped the corpse in the river, Rose runs into the jungle and disappears. Finally, the Nazis are ready to strike using the lethal virus, but before they proceed, they try to kill Batman. The execution is stopped once again by Thorn, who appears out of nowhere to help Batman break free and together, they bring the whole Nazi Party down.
After the Nazi headquarters is blown to pieces and the deadly virus is lost in the waters of the nearby river, Batman and Thorn start their way to safety, but Batman is curious about Thorn's real identity. Using hypnosis techniques, Batman tries to learn the truth, but he finds none as Thorn herself doesn't know about it.

Trivia
- There are some stereotypes errors regarding Brazil in this story.
1) The official language in Brazil is Portuguese, not Spanish. In page 9, the Brazilian President answer "si" (Yes) when he would answer "sim". In the same page, criminals dressed as the Batman refers to the president as "El" President, when the correct is "o".
2) In this point of time, the Brazilian President was João Figueiredo, but the person described looks more like a generic Latin American socialist leader.
