Synopsis for Batman and Superboy: "You Can Take The Boy Out Of Smallville..."
When a group of thugs steal from a charity in Metropolis, Batman finds them and contacts Superman. While on his way to the crooks' hideout, Superman is attacked by a special ray and he is transported back in time, leaving in his place a very confused Superboy.
Batman has to work with the inexperienced Superboy and they round up the crooks. After their first mission, Batman and Superboy investigate whatever might have caused the young boy to switch places with his adult counterpart and they find that the responsible is I.Q., who wanted to eliminate Superman to continue his criminal activities.
While Batman tracks down the crook, Superboy gets the chance to spy on his family and learns the hard truth that his adoptive parents are dead. Superboy loses his determination to work for the good of mankind, but Batman talks sense into him and together, they confront I.Q., learning of his experiments and using them to revert the transportation. Superboy returns to his own time and Superman returns to the present, ready to listen an explanation from Batman.
