Synopsis for Batman and Nemesis: "Those Who Live By The Sword"
Nemesis contacts Batman to enlist him in an operation against a The Council. Together, they confront the thug known as Bloodclaw, but the thugs gives them the slip and the heroes decide to split to stop the Council from two fronts.
Batman goes looking for Bloodclaw and Nemesis investigates Irene Scarfield, the head of the Council's operations. After a lengthy search, Batman locates and confronts Bloodclaw, but during the struggle, the criminal falls to his apparent demise. Meanwhile, Nemesis has tracked down Scarfield to the secret base of operations, where the Council attempts to send a helicopter bomb on a mission, but Nemesis hijacks the chopper and brings it down to the Council headquarters, sacrificing himself in order to eliminate the terrorists for good.
Batman arrives too late at the scene and finds everything in ashes. The fact that a good man has made an honorable sacrifice gives Batman a sense of determination and sense of honor that was only undertstood by Nemesis.
