Synopsis for Batman and Green Lantern: "War of the Cosmic Avenger"
The Time Commander has returned to plague Gotham City once more, by posing as Batman and faking to be captured in a near indestructible iron bat harness. As it seems impossible to break him free, he decides to summon Green Lantern for help. Green Lantern uses his ring to break the iron bat and once free, the Time Commander gets a hold of the iron bat harness to siphon the energy from Green Lantern's ring that was absorbed by it and uses it to create a device to recreate a creature named Cosmos, created by a Dr. Carruthers, but destroyed thereafter because of it's imperfect nature.
However, the Time Commander loses control of the creature, who goes on a destructive rampage in Gotham City until he is confronted by Batman and the Green Lantern, who are unable to defeat the creature until they locate Dr. Carruthers and snap him out of his amnesia in order to enlist his aid in destroying Cosmos once more. With the creature defeated, Batman and Green Lantern make quick work of the Time Commander and turn him over to the authorities.
