• Supergirl refers to someone named "Cassie" in this issue. This would be Cassandra Sandsmark, aka Wonder Girl, a member of the Teen Titans and a close ally to both Supergirl and Raven.

• Triumph is a super-hero who had been retroactively inserted into the Silver Age of heroes era and established as a founding member of the Justice League of America. Due to an accident of the time stream, Triumph was removed from existence and nobody had any knowledge of him. He returned to the mainstream reality following the events of Zero Hour and debuted in Justice League America #92. Triumph later turned evil and was killed while trying to take control of the Justice League in JLA #31.
