He's called Hardware, and while this is the first time I've met him... ..Wonder Girl told me he and some group called the Shadow Cabinet took on the JLA a while back. All Í know is, so far he makes the Peacemaker look like a Tickle Me Elmo

Synopsis for "System Compatibility"
For 3 days, there are UFO sightings along the Mexican/Texas border. The Blue Beetle checks out his turf and discovers it was Hardware in search of Alva Technologies. As they discover a smuggling caravan heading to El Paso take take down most of the Trucks until they experience armed thugs and some guy in a SYSTEMatic battle armor that seemed to be modified to battle Hardware.
The Team Up doesn't go so well Hardware claims he needs no help on his personal business and this comes over as rude to El Paso's Azure Defender. The Systematic guy managed to hack Hardware's software and shuts him down, and leave with a clean get away. The Blue Beetle discovers the out of power Hardware and gives it a jump start accidentally hacking his program. After scowling the Blue Beetle Hardware plans to follow the trucks to El Paso and takes Blue Beetle with him as he knows the town. The Blue Beetle suggest they visit La Dama the local crime lord.
Hardware noticed La Dama was playing them as she had her notes almost ready before they arrived and follow her directions, as they head of La Dama calls her man from Warehouse 13 and orders her man to stand down, she found other to deal with Intergang.
The two heroes crash in a dealing between System and Intergang, and despite Hardware modification on his armor he is hacked again by the SYSTEMatic. Blue Beetle jump starts/hacks Hardware's armor again but this time with his approval frying the SYSTEMatic armor. This time the armors give each other data while Blue Beetle only received data he doesn't understand. Hardware takes the the SYSTEMatic armors with him to study why his armor was so easily hacked. Hardware tells the Blue Beetle he picked up Universes from his Scarab and he seemed impressed on how much Beetle has seen, and he likes to hear more of it maybe the next time they team up. Blue Beetle smiles and hates to admit it but Hardware moved up in his Team Up list.
Somewhere else the SYSTEM isn't all that pleased with the results. But the hired tech support claims differently the armor did what it was supposed to do. And while Hardware plans to study the captured armor to be one step ahead again. With the new battle data SYSTEM is a hundred steps ahead. With that Gizmo leaves telling them not the hesitate to call him again if they need help fighting a guy with machine parts after all these kind of jobs run in the family.
