Synopsis for "The Cursed, Finale"
As Infernal steps into the world from the Dark Multiverse, he pacifies Brimstone and Annie Chamberlain by sinking them into the floor and causing Brimstone to dissipate leaving Joe. Infernal summons the Salesman and after discovering that their job was complete, he blew their head off. Infernal teases Annie which causes Joe to erupt into Brimstone's flames.
Brimstone and Infernal battle while Infernal reveals that Joe is wielding a little aspect of his full power, though Infernal appears to be weakening. Annie realises that Infernal needs Joe to use his power to strengthen his grasp on the Earth and after she informs Joe, Infernal mutes her and he spears Joe through the stomach with a stone rod.
Infernus taunts Joe about his lack of sacrifice but Joe has one last card to play, he instead sacrifices himself for Annie and explodes in a manner akin to a nuke. In the aftermath Annie rushes to find Joe's body and she finds him alive - though de-powered.
As Annie rushes to embrace Joe, a strange warmth encapsulates her and soon she engulfed in flames, turned into Brimstone.
