The Dreaming #30 is an issue of the series The Dreaming (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 1998.
Synopsis for "Many Mansions, Part Four: Temporary Overflow"
Lucien allows Cain to store some mysteries he salvaged from the fire in the Library. Mervyn has heard hearsay that Cain himself began the blaze, and when he accuses Cain, the two get into a row which knocks over some shelves in the Library. Lucien has had all he can stand and locks Cain and Mervyn out. Mervyn had a spare key made when Lucien put him in charge temporarily and comes back to help with the clean up. Mervyn still holds a grudge against Cain for when he knocked his block at the fire, but Lucien admonishes him that even though Cain is 'difficult' he ought to show more respect for the firstborn.
