Synopsis for "Prologue"

Dusk visits New Tamaran to warn them of the Sun-Eater, but she is mistaken for a spy and imprisoned. Koriand'r, however, believes Dusk is not hostile and learns to communicate with her. As the Tamaraneans launch a suicide mission against the Sun-Eater, Koriand'r helps Dusk escape in her ship to warn the next planet in the Sun-Eater's path. Ultimately, New Tamaran is destroyed, but Koriand'r was able to survive aboard her small scout ship.
