Full Throttle is a Flash storyline written by Marc Guggenheim and Tony S. Daniel. It was published in the series The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive as the final arc, following Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo's Lightning in a Bottle. The story deals with the death of Bart Allen, the fourth Flash, at the hands of Inertia and the Rogues. It is also a tie-in to the Countdown event.
Synopsis
This series was published simultaneously with the Lightning Saga crossover between the Justice League and the Justice Society. That storyline saw the return of the third Flash, Wally West, who had been missing since Infinite Crisis. Following Full Throttle and the conclusion of The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, the second volume of The Flash resumes with its original numbering in Mark Waid's storyline The Wild Wests.
