Notes
- Team Flash's story continues in the novel, "The Flash: Johnny Quick".
- This novel takes place in September 2016 and is set on a parallel universe which diverges from the "TV Universe" as, in this continuity, Iris West manages to prevent Barry Allen from going back in time and save his mother so the Flashpoint never happened.
- In the following "The Flash: Johnny Quick" novel, Cisco Ramon of the "TV universe" will rename this reality as "Earth-1A".
- In "The Flash: The Legends of Forever" novel, it will be established that a whole "local" Multiverse was shaped around this reality as a result of Barry not causing the Flashpoint.
- On Earth-1A, there are many changes to the timeline, which also be addressed in the following novels, compared to the events of The Flash Season 3:
- Savitar never came to exist in this reality;
- As a result of Savitar never existing in the new timeline, Wally was turned into a metahuman by Dark Matter from the second Particle Accelerator explosion instead of having his powers restored by the Philosopher's Stone;
- Furthermore, as Savitar never clashed against Team Flash, H.R. Wells doesn't die in this continuity and keeps being an active member of Team Flash;
- Barry Allen is helped by the sorceress Madame Xanadu that his prime counterpart never met in his universe;
- Another techno-mage journeys to the "present" instead of Abra Kadabra;
- Barry Allen meets Darrel Frye that his counterpart never had to meet because he never risked his job.
- Savitar never came to exist in this reality;
Trivia
- A counterpart of Xanadu was never shown to exist on both the Pre-Crisis Earth-1 and its Post-Crisis iteration, Earth-Prime.
- While wondering about a timeline where he ran back in time, which is obviously a reference to the Flashpoint, Barry mentions Ronnie Raymond's counterpart from that timeline who actually didn't appear in "Flashpoint".
- There are many nods to The Flash authors:
- Gardner River and Fox District are nods to Gardner Fox who co-created Jay Garrick;
- Waid Avenue is a reference to Mark Waid;
- Lampert Building is a nod to Harry Lampert who co-created Jay Garrick;
- Carmine's is a reference to Carmine Infantino who co-created Barry Allen;
- Broome Street as well as Broome & Son are references to John Broome who co-created Barry Allen;
- Wieringo Street is a reference to Mike Wieringo who co-created Bart Allen.
