Trivia

• Barry's first line from this episode, "There's only one thing I know about life. I know some things happen by chance. And some things happen because we make them happen.", is a callback to the first scene of Flashpoint (Volume 2) #1 as well as the first lines of Batman/Thomas Wayne's letter to Bruce Wayne from Flashpoint (Volume 2) #5 and Flashpoint Beyond #6.
• Flashpoint Joe killing the Rival mirrors his Earth-1 counterpart killing Clyde Mardon in "Pilot".
• Cisco Ramon previously mentioned that he believes that one of his countepart could be a billionaire in "Welcome to Earth-2".
• Julio Mendez, the CCPD Captain from the Flashpoint, is the counterpart of Earth-90 Julio Mendez from the 1990 Flash series.
