Trivia

  • The title of the episode is a pun on the movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
  • While Team Flash is checking on Cecile's powers, the woman mentions that she wasn't on the bus, she wasn't abducted by the aliens and she didn't inherit a mystic totem from her grandma. These are respectively references to DeVoe's Bus Metas, the Dominators alien species and the superhero Vixen/Mari McCabe who obtained her powers from using her grandmother Amaya Jiwe's Totem.
  • Big Sir saying that "hope is a deadly thing" is once again a nod to the movie, The Shawshank Redemption which is also noted by Barry in the episode.
