Notes
- The events in the past from this story take place on December 31, 2013; the epilogue of the episode on Earth-Prime takes place on January 1, 2022.
- Bart and Nora West-Allen's story continues from "Heart of the Matter, Part 2" and is continued in "Into the Still Force".
- Avery's story is eventually concluded in the epilogue of The Flash series finale, "A New World, Part Four".
- As a consequence of Bart and Nora's time travels and and Godspeed being defeated in the past, Nora's future is altered so that Jay Garrick was never murdered. However, the reality changes also altered the timeline of Earth-Prime so that Joan Williams is erased from existence and Joe West became Police Chief in 2013.
- After time traveling to the past, the speedster siblings avert an alternate timeline where the birth of the metahuman incarnation of the Royal Flush Gang, which happens years before its Earth-Prime's original appearance,[1] leads to a big heist with many casualties.
- The speedsters eventually manage to restore their original future.
- Booster Gold cameos in this episode as it is shown to be welcomed in the White House in 2032. This event presumably happened after he escaped with the alternate Waverider but before he was captured by the Time Police during the events of the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode, "Knocked Down, Knocked Up".
Trivia
- The identity of Avery's boss at Fast Track Labs is revealed in "The Man in the Yellow Tie".
- Bart and Nora's aliases, "Nora Moy" and "Bart Waid", are references to DC Comics writers, Jeffrey Moy and Mark Waid.
- Future Jay Garrick mentions being stuck in the past and fighting the Nazis during World War II in "another lifetime" which is a reference to his early superhero career on the reborn Earth-2 from the Stargirl tv series.
