Notes
- This episode confirms that Eobard Thawne is immune to change in the timeline due to his Negative Speed Force connection which basically makes him a living paradox.
- This mirrors his comic counterpart becoming a living paradox due to being in the Negative Speed Force during The Flashpoint.
- In an erased timeline of Nora's Future, Eobard Thawne manages to kill Trevor Shinick and the other Iron Heights guards: however, XS and Flash are able to reverse time and erase the timeline by preventing the guards' death.
- Nora's Future and all of its residents, including Nora and Grace Gibbons, are erased from existence as a consequence of the destruction of Cicada's Dagger,
- The events of "Into the Void" will reveal that this future still exist in a different form; it wil be eventually explored in Season 7.
- Thawne's hair turning once again black implies that, after he had his powers restored, the effect of his appearance-stealing device was restored as well.
- As a consequence of the creation of a new timeline, the Crisis is somehow shifted from 2024 to 2019 on Earth-1.
- Despite Thawne stating to "see Flash in the next Crisis", he doesn't actually appear in the Crisis on Infinite Earths event.
Trivia
- After meeting Team Flash, Eobard Thawne states that Ralph Dibny should be dead. This is a reference to Ralph's Pre-Flashpoint incarnation who died in the Particle Accelerator explosion as Thawne himself mentioned in "Power Outage".
- Nora leaving a video message for the Earth-1 counterpart of her parents mirrors his father doing the same before vanishing in Crisis.[1]
