Notes

  • The next episode, "Wednesday Ever After", takes place in 2023, one week after the events of this episode which implies that, as a consequence of the various time manipulations, similarly to the ones from Season 7,[1] the timeline shifted from Summer/Fall 2022 to early 2023 so the Forces War has now happened in January 2023.
  • The combined powers of the Positive Forces and Barry Allen seemingly erase a Negative Forces-powered Thawne from the continuity.
    • However, versions of Thawne are mentioned to eventually resurface in the various possible futures.[2][3]
  • This episode also reveales that the Armageddon Damien Darhk's existence was preserved into a pocket dimension inside the Time Stone, acting as an enforcer of the Timestream.
  • This episode implies that all the psychic are controlled by the Sage Force, similar to how the Speed Force managed all the speedsters' superpowers.
  • A deleted scene reveals that, during the events of this episode, Future Barry is fighting the Chronarch in Abra Kadabra's 64th Century.[4]

Trivia

  • As of this episode, The Flash is the longest TV show in the Arrowverse continuity.
  • Tinya Wazzo being a friend with Barry and Iris was already mentioned in the "Phantom Punch" story from Earth-Prime #6 which, as of the epilogue of this story, takes place months before the events of the Forces War.
