Notes
- It is revealed that Earth-1 is the center of the Multiverse.
- Although it is not addressed in the episode, Barry running back in time to stop Eobard Thawne from killing his mother, Nora, causes the creation of the Flashpoint Timeline.
- In Barry Lyga's The Flash: Hocus Pocus novel, it is shown that a version of Iris West manages to convince Barry's doppleganger to not going back in time and, as a consequence, never create the alternate timeline.
- Instead of creating an alternate timeline, this event causes the birth of a whole, new Multiverse, which is later referred to as "Barryverse",[1] where the events of every Earth, including alternate versions of Earth-1 and Earth-38 which become the settings of The Flash and Supergirl novels, unfolded differently.
- In Barry Lyga's The Flash: Hocus Pocus novel, it is shown that a version of Iris West manages to convince Barry's doppleganger to not going back in time and, as a consequence, never create the alternate timeline.
Trivia
- Barry Allen's Time Remnant sacrificing himself to prevent the destruction of the Multiverse is a callback to Earth-One The Flash/Barry Allen dying to save the Multiverse[2] in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
