Notes
- One of the Iron Heights correction officers is played by Everick Golding who will also play the Iron Height head guard, Trevor Shinick from Nora's Future. However, it is unknown if the character from this episode is his Earth-1 self, one of his relatives or just a different character.
Trivia
- During Barry and Caitlin's visit to CCPD, David Singh asks Barry for the fiber analysis on the Orloff case. This could be a reference to Pytor Orloff, a Russian scientist that appeared in some Flash comics.
- Dr. Pytor Orloff will become an antagonist of the Flash in the Post-Crisis continuity.[1]
- The marquee outside the Vogue Theatre lists "Blue Devil II - Hell to Pay" and "The Rita Farr Story" as features.
- Blue Devil first appeared in the Arrow episode, "Time of Death", as a character from the movie "Blue Devil".
- Ronnie's nickname for him and Caitlin was "'Fire and Ice" which is a reference to their comic book counterparts' monikers, Firestorm and Killer Frost, as well as their future aliases.
- Barry mentions that he doesn't want a museum dedicated to him. This is a reference to the iconic Flash Museum from the comics.
- Waid Boulevard is a nod to the Flash writer, Mark Waid.
