Synopsis for "Dawn of the Sixth Sun"

The Lord of Chaos Malferrazae has sent the jealousy creature born from Inza Nelson to defeat Doctor Fate. If Fate manages to destroy the monster, Inza would die as a result, crushing Kent Nelson's and ending his desire to continuie his work as Doctor Fate, allowing Malferrazae to cause the fifth massive extintion on Earth. Confident of his victory, Malferrazae starts to drain away the life out of Inza while Fate fights the monster.

The struggle takes Fate and the jealousy monster across the West Coast of the US and they wreack havoc through their path. Eventually, Fate gets the upper hand in the fight and his powers could destroy the creature, but he senses something familiar coming from the thing. Fate suspects that the monster has a strange connection to Inza and to make sure, he summons the Orb of Nabu for the insight required to unravel the mystery.

Using his magic, Fate learns the truth behind the mysterious connection between the monster and Inza. Knowing that the destruction of one would result in the other's death, Fate uses his powers to rescue Inza from Malferrazae's grip. Unfortunately, Fate is fully focused on retrieving Inza and doesn't notice the monster sneaking up behind him and removing the Helmet of Fate, just as Inza is dragged towards him. Without the powers of Fate, Kent Nelson recovers his normal consciousness and watches as Inza plunges to a likely death.
