Synopsis for "Misadventures in Babysitting"

Wally West whisks Linda off on a spontaneous romantic trip to Italy, and calls his cousin Kid Flash to babysit the twins. Kid Flash, who is busy sabotaging a Hall of Doom in the mountains, agrees after Wally makes an unspecified promise.

Wallace picks up Jai and Irey from school, but learns to his shock that he must also babysit Maxine Baker, who is coming to the West's home for a sleepover; and take the kids on patrol. He resignedly agrees and tells the kids to follow him to get pizza, but as soon as he turns his back they disappear. They are sucked through a vortex and emerge in a stone chamber where Knives Maroney is waiting. He tells them that since he encountered the twins in his own universe he has been travelling the Multiverse and eventually discovered the "Eternity Mind", a powerful artefact that allows him to summon anything from across time and space, and he used it to abduct them from Earth 0.

Knives reveals that he has teamed up with Dr. Nightmare and a band of other villains that they will apparently fight in the future. As the three of them will one day form the core of a new superhero team known as the "Superkids", the assembled villains plan to kill them before the team is formed. A pair of shadowy figures watching from a ledge above dive down to save the kids, revealed to be Jon Kent and Damian Wayne, aka Superboy and Robin, the Super Sons. The five of them fight off the villains and Irey snatches the Eternity Mind from Knives. They flee as Doctor Nightmare summons a giant nightmare creature.

Back on Earth 0, Kid Flash races to Terrifictech and asks tells Mister Terrific what has happened. Terrific is able to track the kids and sends Wallace through a portal to the alternate universe where Knives took them. He emerges in the chamber and the entire band of villains attack and overpower him.

Meanwhile, the kids have escaped into an infinite transdimensional corridor. They quickly deduce that Superboy and Robin are from another universe as Superboy is a child and Robin is shorter than in their world. Superboy explains that they were pulled through a vortex like the others and quickly hid in the shadows before they were noticed. Irey points out that, since Knives was trying to summon the Superkids, that must mean they are teammates in the future.

Knives calls them over the building's intercom and tells them that he has Wallace and will kill him if they don't hand over the Eternity Mind. Maxine says they need a plan to save Wallace without giving Knives the Eternity Mind, but Jai suggests another idea. They return to the chamber and Knives takes back the Eternity Mind, but when he activates it the kids each start asking the Mind to summon fog and animals, which appear in the chamber and stampede around, creating chaos. While Knives is distracted, Wallace punches him out and Robin takes back the gem, which he uses to wish all the villains into jail.

Wallace opens the portal to Earth 0 and they return home. Superboy and Robin promise that they will team up again soon, as the Eternity Mind will allow them to travel to each other's worlds. Robin wishes them back home, but as they start to disappear Superboy realises he forgot to tell the Eternity Mind to come with them. They teleport back to their universe and the Eternity Mind drops to the floor. Granny Goodness appears in the chamber and picks up the Eternity Mind.
