Synopsis for "Don't Come To Central City"
A group of minor villains play poker with their latest scores. As they play they discuss which cities are the best to hit: Gotham is so chaotic that you're almost certain to get away, but if you get caught you're facing months in the hospital. Metropolis is too dangerous; not because of Superman, but the endless alien invasions and giant monster attacks. Coast City and Hub City are the best, as their resident heroes are too focused on galactic threats or organised crime respectively to notice a simple bank robbery. Fadeaway Man suggests Central City but the others tell him that Keystone and Central are the worst of them all; because the Flashes can beat you before you even realise they're there, and they are relentless enough to literally hound someone to the end of time itself. They all share stories of villains who were defeated and humiliated by the Flashes but Fadeaway Man brags that he robbed a bank in Central City right next to the Flash Museum and got away clean. Suddenly there is a knock on the door and the others all resign themselves to a stretch in Iron Heights. He opens the door to find the Flash on the other side.

Synopsis for "The Max In The Mirror"
Impulse gets up, and to his shock sees Max Mercury and the Flash in his bathroom mirror. They tell him that the Mirror Master has them trapped in a mirror dimension. Wally tells him to go to Keystone City and get the Mirror Master to release them, but before he finishes his sentence Bart runs to Keystone and knocks Mirror Master out, destroying the Mirror Gun. Wally yells at him to go get Steel and get him to rebuild the gun, but Bart instead runs to the library and researches physics and engineering until he is able to repair it himself; unfortunately the gun has no power. Wally is furious but Max restrains him and tells Bart to look for any clue what powers the gun. Bart sees a gauge on the side marked "MPS" and realises that the gun works by siphoning off super-speed. He runs until the gun is charged and uses it to free them just as the dimension is about to collapse. Wally begrudgingly admits that Bart did a good job and suggests the three of them get breakfast together, but before he can say where Impulse again blasts off into the horizon.

Synopsis for "Between Love And You"
Wally is on a date with Linda and has promised her one meal without his powers. However, he is in fact using his super-speed to respond to emergencies whenever she blinks or looks away. Wally feels a disturbance in the Speed Force and when Linda takes a moment to wipe a tear, he runs out of the restaurant and enters the Force. A shadowy figure attacks and beats him down, but Wally sees an "atomic mirror" in the Force and smashes through it. He and the figure, revealed to be Evan McCulloch, the Mirror Master, emerge back into the physical world. McCulloch has used advanced technology beyond his normal capabilities to access the Force, but Wally doesn't have time to find out where he got it. He transports McCulloch to Iron Heights and then runs back to the restaurant, hoping to make it before Linda realises he is gone. As he runs, he finds himself shifting into other dimensions, a side-effect of crashing through the mirror, but ignores it and forces himself back into his own reality. He returns to the restaurant, but decelerates too quickly and creates a shockwave, making it obvious what has happened. Linda wearily gets up and leaves with Wally chasing after her. Meanwhile in Iron Heights, extra-dimensional beings appear in Mirror Master's cell and begin to modify him.
