After absorbing the criminals and Dr. Parker to even another dimension, Chunk agrees to transport Flash and the rest of the community back to New York City. They travel in Chunk's boat, which arrives upside down in the harbor. Wally is able to rescue everyone. Apparently, he has been missing for one month.

The police want to arrest Chunk, but Wally is able to persuade them to release him into his care. Wally returns back to his mansion to see that his mother is in the process of completely remodeling the place. He also begins to notice the tension between his mother and his girlfriend Tina McGee.

Mister Gilchrist of the Middle Hampton city council agrees to meet Wally and Chunk at the police boat pier the following morning. Wally hopes to help Chunk take advantage of his abilities by making garbage disappear. However, the test run, making a barge full of trash disappear, results in a massive whirlpool and the disappearance of Chunk.
