Synopsis for "Blood Will Run, Part One: Breaking the Foundation"

Wally West thinks about how he loves Keystone City and he runs to a certain place. He's proud how it has become the blue-collar capital of the Midwest known for automobiles and manufacturing.

Moments later, Wally and Linda Park attend a hockey game of new Keystone City Combines. They had a ticket for Jesse, but she doesn't show up. Jesse has been really busy with her company and apologizes but she's missed other dinner dates and events with Wally and his wife. Across the arena Flash spots a civilian who resembles Leonard Snart who told him he was splitting town and wouldn't be around.[1] Before he can investigate Linda interrupts him telling him he's not paying attention. Before Linda can finish a KCPD officer interrupts to tell them there has been a disturbance at Keystone Motors.

Meanwhile, Pied Piper returns home and is thinking about how the city is quiet. If he was still in the Rogues he thinks how now would be a perfect time to commit a crime. He sees his computer is on and a letter from his Dad saying he needs him now.

Fred Chyre and Julie Jackum are in a shootout with the thugs at Keystone Motors, when they are attacked from behind. Flash stops the bullets from killing them and Fred introduces himself for the first time even though Wally has met him in a Mirror World before. As they are distracted, a large engine is dropped and Magenta arrives in time and using her magnetic powers, she stops the metal engine from crushing them. A random thug yells out, "this is all for you" as she presses the button to ignite a bomb. Flash zips into superspeed mode, takes the bomb with him and covers it in tires before it can explode. When he returns, the thugs are all dead from knife wounds. Julie finds a dead cicada that she puts into an evidence bag.

As the police is clearing the crime scene, Goldface makes an appearance and speaks about manufacturing being the heart of Keystone City. Without any more criminals to capture, Officer Jackum tries to arrest Magenta for her past crimes. The powerful Magenta resists arrest at first, but then she turns herself in and she is taken along in the police car. Before they could leave, Flash tries to talk to Julie about their past, but she dismisses him and tells him it's not important.

When Julie returns home, she tells her infant, Josh, that she should have told Wally about him. Before she could realize what had happened, a stranger had broken into her home and the man stabe Julie, killing her instantly. The assassin leaves as her body lies on the floor and her baby cries for her mother.
