Synopsis for "Absolute Zero"
Leonard Snart admits that he's a vandal, cheat, uses prostitutes, and stealer. When it comes to murder, he only kills when it's kill-or-be-killed, or if if it's eye-for-an-eye. Leonard recalls growing up with his sister who loved ice skating. They were close but frequently the receiving end of violent abuse from their drunkard father. His Dad was the one who beat into him that love wasn't real and it's a take-what-you-need-world. Leonard's grandfather was the only one who could get their dad to stop beating them. His grandfather owned an Ice Cream truck, it was cold, but also the only place where he felt safe from abuse. Leonard goes on about his orgins of how he came to research absolute zero and combined this with weapons to become Captain Cold.
His sister grew up to be Golden Glider. They were happy whether they were working the good side of bounty hunting, or bad side of running deals and murdering. Golden Glider was eventually murdered by Chillblaine.
Now, Leonard Snart is hunting Chillblaine and tracks him to the Candyman's hideout. Candyman steps aside for Captain Cold to claim his victim and successfully get revenge for his sister, the Golden Glider.
Later, Leonard recalls memories of his sister and has a bit of an emotional weak-point. When his usual Wednesday night "date", Angie, shows up he pays her and tells her to go home because he's not in the mood.
