The Flash (Volume 2) #70 is an issue of the series The Flash (Volume 2) with a cover date of November, 1992.

Synopsis for "Gorilla Warfare, Conclusion: Quite a Head on His Shoulders"

Green Lantern and Flash have been transformed by the third piece of the meteor that originally evolved Grodd and Hector Hammond. Those villains, too, have shifted forms due to this new piece of the meteor. While Hal devolved to neanderthal, Wally's brain evolved forward, and his body became too weak to move. With the ape-like Green Lantern aiming his power ring toward Flash, Wally throws his yellow boot to Hal's hand, which gives him time to make telepathic contact with his mind and revert the effects of the meteor.

Back into human forms, Green Lantern and Flash find Gorilla City and confront Grodd, who commands his army of gorillas against them. Hal and Wally lure the gorillas into a trap while Rex engages Grodd. The Wonder Dog finally dampens and devolves Grodd's mind, putting an end to his rampage.

Green Lantern and Flash part ways and leave Hammond and Grodd in custody in Gorilla City until they find a cure to their child-like minds, but Bobo stays in the city with fellow apes instead of returning to the Bureau.
