Synopsis for "Running Behind"

Wally West and Jay Garrick team up again - this time to stop the high-tech soldiers of the Combine from robbing a train of the Federal Reserve Bank. However, the attack gets the train out of control possibly resulting in a dangerous crash right in Keystone City. Only with the additional help of Barry Allen both Wally and Jay succeed in stopping the train and save the people of Keystone City.

Later, Wally talks to his girlfriend Linda Park about how much attention Barry Allen attracts from the public. For Linda it seems obvious that Wally is a bit jealous and, thus, suggests that he should find a new name for his superhero identity. But her ideas fall quite short - at least in Wally's opinion. As Wally gets a call from Jay Garrick, he leaves immediately, because the police claims to have identified a hiding place of the Combine.

Before running to the mentioned warehouse, Wally searches for Barry Allen and quickly finds him in the alley where Barry recently re-materialized. Barry still feels disoriented at times and hopes to find some answers about his mysterious return in this very street. But shortly after that all both meet Jay Garrick at the Combine's hideout. While the three are still discussing a possible trap, the soldiers of the Combine already break out and attack using heavy artillery. Jay is quickly incapacitated and after Wally gets buried under a mountain of rubble, a Combine soldier already celebrates having killed the Flash. However, this leads to an angry outburst by Barry Allen and Wally, who managed to free himself from the rubble, barely is able to stop his mentor before he injures the responsible soldier or even kills him. But much worse is that Wally clearly heard how Barry shouted something directly into the face of the soldier. And it sounded like "I am the Flash!" ...
