Synopsis for "Mean Streak"

It is New Year's Eve and Linda Park accompanies her boyfriend Wally West to a press conference which was initiated by Allison Armitage. She is suing the Flash for negligence. On their way, Flash's attention is caught by the villain known as Chillblaine. Because of the upcoming lawsuit and the fact that his house was recently destroyed during a battle of intergalactic forces, Wally is not in the best of moods and Chillblaine has to bear the consequences.

As Linda and Wally arrive at the press conference, the place is already loaded with reporters and cameramen. Flash's confidence takes a hit as he realizes that the plaintiff not only has a burned face, but she also lost both of her legs in the fire at the Valentine Mall. Wally immediately runs off and changes into his Flash costume. Linda tries to follow him, but of course arrives late at every scene where the Flash stopped some criminals. Seconds before the turn of the year, Chillblaine once again pops up at a public place and threatens Linda as well as dozens of other people who wanted to celebrate the beginning of the new year. Again, Flash is able to stop Chillblaine, but after that he is completely exhausted and breaks down ... much to the satisfaction of an unknown observer.
