Synopsis for "So Below"

Mysterious earthquakes and solar flares are occurring around the world, as well as sudden outbursts of rage and violence apparently caused by some kind of telepathic attack. The Flash runs around the world trying to prevent people harming each other. Up on the Watchtower Irey notices that all the incidents are occurring at the same latitude and calls her father to tell him, but he refuses to listen and gets annoyed, then starts smashing up vehicles in a rage, having fallen victim to the psychic disturbance. Red Tornado opens a Boom Tube to pull him out and Irey jumps through it. She runs up and hugs her father, snapping him out of it.

When they return to the Watchtower Irey asks who the other Wally is and her father replies that they are both Wally West. He tells her that the nature of reality was changed when Earth 0 was sealed off and asks her if she has noticed any changes to her powers; Irey claims that she hasn't but appears to be lying. Wally explains that alternate timelines can no longer branch off Earth 0, but the potential for them still exists; Inspector Pilgrim showed him how he could use this to allow the two possibilities to exist in parallel, creating two Wally Wests. This is intended to be short-term, allowing him to fulfil his duties to the League and be with his family at the same time; once the vacation is over the two are supposed to fuse back together. Wally tells Irey to go back to Skartaris and rejoin their family and she reluctantly agrees, saying she will confront the other Wally for keeping the split a secret. She runs off before Wally can tell her his other self's memories have been altered and he doesn't know about it.

Irey Boom Tubes back down to Earth and runs down the tunnel into Skartaris and to her family's campsite. Due to the time discrepancy between Earth and Skartaris, from her family's perspective she has only been gone for a few seconds. She tries to tell Linda about the split, but suddenly a dark cloud gathers in the sky around Skartaris' unsetting sun, purple pustules erupt from plants and animals and green lightning starts sparking around them. Linda notices light coming through the cloud at one specific spot and Wally runs towards it, but when he gets a mile away from his family his powers cut out.

At the campsite Jai is focussing on the cloud, sensing some kind of "reality blockage", when suddenly a reptilian teenaged girl jumps out of the undergrowth and hurls a spear at him. The spear pins him to a tree, but he simply pulls himself off and heals himself, then rips up the tree and hits the lizard girl with it. However she is protected by a force field. Irey runs at her and gets caught in some kind of magic distortion; Wade frees her but the lizard girl then telekinetically lifts them both.

Wade summons Inspector Pilgrim from the future and he says that he remembers what is happening. He pets Foxy and shoots a blast of energy from his hand at the lizard girl, knocking her down and freeing his siblings. Pilgrim says that he's not supposed to give away knowledge of the future, but tells his family that there's a source of unprecedented power nearby and the fate of innumerable worlds hang on what they do. Wally walks back into the campsite and Pilgrim says that he needs to leave before he accidentally triggers Wally's memories. He distracts his family by pointing at the lizard girl, who is surrendering to be executed, and ss soon as the turn to look at her he teleports away. The lizard girl prostrates herself and presents her sword to the Flash Family, but Wally refuses to take it and she storms off.

Wally says they need to move to a safer place, and asks the family to stay close as his powers only seem to work around them. He and Linda suggest it could be the power of love, which grosses Irey out. As they hike off, Irey suddenly sees Foxy as a dog-shaped bundle of energy with an infinity symbol floating over him and realises he is the source of power Pilgrim was talking about. Jai shushes before she can tell their parents and reveals that he can see it too, telling her "One super-secret at a time".
