Synopsis for "Darkness Visible"

Deep in the Southern Supervoid, Green Lantern Rot Lop Fan guards over Evil Star until a contingent of Blackstars attack him and leave with the villain. They are not there for his benefit, though: they want to steal his Star-Band and the vampire Belzebeth sucks the life force from him before dumping him close to Earth, where he will get the attention of Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Hal is busy interrogating petty thief Retlops when he gets the news. He confronts the youth with the fact that the artifact she stole was a fraud and that the real Luck Dial is in the hands of more sophisticated criminals. He visits the ailing Evil Star on a medical spaceship and he goes to visit his homeworld to find that it has vanished.

Meanwhile, Controller Mu sets up a deal with some Dhorian traders and uses the Star-Band to assemble a super-weapon.
