Notes
- The letters page appears to be fake, filled with intentional jokes. One "reader" under the name Bill Mulligan claims that Heckler first appeared in Hostess Twinkies' advertising comic pages in June 1982, but in fact Heckler's debut was in this issue. He also cites Nietzsche in Man and Superman vs. the Mole People, claims the Heckler had died in Crisis on Infinite Earths Vol 1 3, among other jokes.
Trivia
- 42 varieties quote by Heckler in page 4 may be an allusion to Frito-Lay variety packs.
- Lambada (page 18) is a dance from State of Pará, Brazil. The dance briefly became internationally popular in the 1980s, especially in the Philippines, Latin America and Caribbean countries.
- Tonto (page 19) is Spanish for "silly".
- Minoxidil (page 19) is a medication used for the treatment of high blood pressure and pattern hair loss; obviously Heckler bullied Gusano about his baldness.
- Lo odio mucho (page 21) is Spanish for "I hate him so much".
