Synopsis for "Black Adam's Return"

A comet falls to Earth, but is actually a man in a black Marvel costume. When the Marvel family investigates, they find Black Adam, a villain with powers just like theirs, along with the ability to cast magical spells, which he uses to turn Junior's head into a dog's. The Marvels visit Shazam's cave, where the wizard's ghost turns Junior back to normal, before explaining that Black Adam was a former champion like them. Unfortunately, he was corrupted by his powers, and Shazam banished him to the farthest star in the universe for 5000 years.

Black Adam heads for a museum to revive his lover, and partner in evil, Princess Jamai. The two ancient villains magically create a giant baboon and crocodile to keep the Marvels busy, but the heroes soon see off the giant animals. They catch up to Black Adam and Jamai, but in the course of their tussle the smoke from a magic brazier covers Jamai and makes her disappear. Black Adam decides to hypnotize Mary into being his queen instead, and they fly into space.

Captain Marvel and Junior create a giant treasure chest, which Adam opens, and reads the scroll inside: "To whom it may concern...SHAZAM"! Saying the magic word changes Black Adam back to his mortal form, and because his mortal form is thousands of years old, the years catch up to Adam and reduce him to a pile of dust in a matter of seconds.
