Synopsis for "Mr. Power"

An eccentric scientist enters a pool hall and commandeers a table to perform an experiment, noting how when one ball hits another, the first one stops and the second absorbs its momentum. Wondering if this strange man might be onto something valuable, cheap hood Jug Jasper tails him, and steals the formula he develops meant to impart the same kinesis-absorbing properties to the human body. Expecting to be unbeatable now, Jasper hits a policeman and gets a walloping. However, his body absorbs the force of the repeated blows, giving him a powerful new frame that allows him to send the cop flying with a single blow.

Billy was on his way to interview the scientist, and hears the sordid story. He goes after Jasper, but leaves before hearing that the formula means Jasper will be immune to physical attack, even from Captain Marvel! After even standing up to a beating from Captain Marvel, Jasper throws a car at a crowd to cover his getaway, and dubs himself Mr. Power. He barges into the Marvel Roundtable radio show to get them to beat him enough to make him unstoppable, but they realize they're getting nowhere, and go to the scientist to ask for an antidote. Such a thing's impossible, but since the Marvel Family don't bother trying to fight back since they know it'll be pointless, and Mr. Power keeps punching them trying to provoke them, soon he uses up all his absorbed power and is back to normal.
