Synopsis for Marvel Family: "The Marvel Family Goes into Business!"
A truck from Watson Watch Works crashes off a cliff on a high road and later, a goon named Joe gets paid for it by his boss, Jonas Ghold, an evil financier who wants to destroy the works of Andrew Watson so he can foreclose on his watch factory. Andrew Watson looks over the news and Ghold immediately walks in to say he wants it paid in a week, which Watson can't do unless he just doesn't pay his workers now! Days later, the employees all leave (due to not getting paid,) but starts hearing the Marvel Round Table on the radio. He soon rushes in to Station WHIZ the second the broadcast ends to let them know about his plight. The Marvel Family agrees to help, flying him back to the factory with 24 hours to get it all done in. Captain Marvel, Junior starts up the watch assembly, Mary Marvel goes out to round up big cash sales and Captain Marvel sets out to get parts and supplies from their supplier. A simian goon returns to Ghold's office to let him know that the Marvel Family are on the side of Watson Watches,k infuriating him into hiring the simian goon and two other goons to sabotage them. Joe manages to sneak into the factory and pours sand into the machine works, but Junior is close enough to just punch him over and shake him down about who hired him… then goes back to work, because he has likely literal tons of watches to make.
Mary Marvel starts selling watches, but leaves her sample-case in the waiting room where a goon tries to snatch them and dump them out a window, but Mary Marvel easily just flies down and picks them up while an unrelated man nearby accidentally drops his own watch. The goon then tries to shove her out a window, only for her to toe kick him in the chin before he's summarily arrested. Captain Marvel goes to pick up jewels and gold-plating for the watches, but the simian goon tries to shoot a hole in his bag so they'll all spill out, only for Captain Marvel to punch him hard enough to break his boater hat and demands he pick them all back up by hand, then calls a cop to pick him up for trying to sabotage his work. Soon enough, Captain Marvel delivers the supplies, Mary Marvel delivers the sales orders and Junior says that if the factory runs all night, they can just make it. Jonas Ghold, realizing his goons have failed, tries to head in and buy the full stock supposedly under the false name of “Ajax Jewel Shops” and cuts him a fat check. They soon load all of them into a truck (driven by Joe) as they openly discuss dumping them in the river and how the check is going to bounce. The Marvel Family fly out to bring the last three boxes of watches to Ajax (since they were late making them,) but discover them jumping out of the truck to let the watches crash into the river, but the World's Mightiest Family flies the truck over the river, then punch out Ghold and Joe. Later, Watson tells them he's doing fine in business again and he can rehire his workers, pay his debts and says that Ghold tried to swindle him, but the Marvel Family really gave him the business!

Ace checks him from behind to make Freddy lose his book and the ticket. When he can't find it (because Ace stole it,) he accuses Ace of doing so, but admits he can't prove he did it and more that Ace just wasn't actually helping him at all. Freddy says that was the last of his money and now he can't afford it. Two goons spot Freddy and decide he's an easy mark, offering him a “magic hat” that will make anyone you want to give you money! He “shows this off” by using the other goon as a plant when he says the magic words of “Remember this hat?” which “makes” him hand over all his money. The goon tries to offer Freddy trade his watch for this “magic hat,” but Ace shoulders his way in, saying he'll buy it for $10, again slighting our man Freddy. Ace forks over the ticket to the prom he stole from him as Ace tries out the hat on Prof. Little. However, when he tries to ask him if he remembers this hat, Prof. Little clocks him with his umbrella, saying that he thought someone stole this hat from him while he was eating at the campus restaurant, but clearly this was a practical joke. Ace begs Freddy to clear this up, but Freddy says he told him to butt out earlier and that he has a ticket to the prom to get to.
